    Gated on Lake Ruby, right here in our home city of Winter Haven. The HOA keeps the outside sharp; we keep the inside current, starting with slab-ready waterproof floors in the 2006-era homes.

    280 block-built homes behind a gate west of Haines City, with a nine-hole course and a dock on the lake. The 1990s originals are due, and we replace them with floors that handle golf-cart sand.
