Blackburn's has priced flooring in Polk County since 1962. Our first number is our honest number, and most quotes we see land within a few percent of it. The guarantee just puts that on paper: when a quote does come in lower on the identical product, we match it, and you still buy from people who answer the phone after the install.

The fine print
The whole deal, in plain English.
- The quote must be in writing, dated within the last 30 days.
- The product must be identical: same brand, same collection, same color, and same specification (thickness, wear layer, finish).
- The competitor must be an authorized dealer for that brand with a storefront open to the public. Big-box stores count.
- We verify every quote before matching, and we may contact the competitor to confirm the price is real and current.
- Competitor match applies to flooring materials, before purchase. Bring us the quote before your order is placed.
- Price protection: if Blackburn's advertises the same product at a lower price within 30 days of your purchase, we will refund the difference. Bring it to our attention and we take care of it.
- Excludes closeouts, clearance, liquidation and going-out-of-business sales, seconds and damaged goods, and obvious pricing errors.
- Online-only sellers without authorized-dealer status are excluded. Most manufacturer warranties apply only when you buy from an authorized dealer.
- Installation labor is quoted separately and is not part of the match. Every install still comes with our labor warranty and installers we train and certify.
- Valid on normal residential quantities for your own project.

Price match questions
- Does the price match apply after I've already bought?
- The competitor match must be brought to us before purchase. But if Blackburn's advertises the same product at a lower price within 30 days of your purchase, bring it to our attention and we will refund the difference. That is the price protection side of the guarantee.
- Do big-box stores count?
- Yes. A written quote or a clear shelf-tag photo from a big-box store works, as long as the product is identical and the store is an authorized dealer for that brand.
- What about online prices?
- Quotes from authorized dealers with a public storefront qualify. Online-only sellers without authorized-dealer status do not, and there is a reason beyond our policy: most manufacturer warranties apply only to purchases from authorized dealers.
- Does the match cover installation labor?
- No. The match covers flooring materials. Labor is quoted separately because the crew, the prep, and the warranty behind the work are not the same from one company to the next. Ours comes with installers we train and certify and a labor warranty we honor ourselves.
- What counts as the identical product?
- Same brand, same collection, same color, same specification. A different thickness, wear layer, or finish is a different product, and so is a big-box version of a brand made only for big-box shelves. If the spec sheets match, we match the price.
- Does it cover cabinets or countertops?
- The written guarantee covers flooring materials. Cabinet and countertop projects are custom-quoted, so a line-for-line match rarely compares the same work. Bring us a competing quote anyway. We price honest work honestly and we will tell you exactly where the numbers differ.
