The community we serve
Schalamar Creek Golf & Country Club is a gated, 55-and-up community of 867 manufactured homesites spread over 500 acres on US Highway 92 East in Lakeland. Residents own their homes and lease the land beneath them. An 18-hole championship course designed by Ron Garl runs through the property, and the homesites sit on the golf course, on the water, and back in the woods.
We haven't put a floor down inside Schalamar Creek yet. You have other flooring companies you could call, and we know it. We'd be grateful for the chance. A manufactured home asks different questions than the block houses we work in across most of Polk County: how the subfloor is built and fastened, where the seam runs if the home came in two sections, how much weight the framing can carry, and how Florida humidity moves through the space underneath. We ask those questions before we quote, not after we start.
Cabinets and countertops work the same way. A wall in a manufactured home does not always take a screw the way a stick-built wall does, and heavy stone can ask more of a floor than the framing wants to give. So we look first and promise second. Residents here lease their lots, so if the park has an approval step for renovations, we will work inside it. Every job gets installers we train and certify and an industry-best residential labor warranty.
