When does flooring actually go on sale?
More often than most people expect, and less meaningfully. Manufacturer events run in some form nearly year round. Blackburn's tends to carry three or four a year, usually built around a mill's own promotion calendar rather than a season.
Here is the part nobody advertises: most flooring “sales” are financing offers or manufacturer rebates, not a cut to the price per square foot. A 24-month no-interest term is worth real money if you were going to finance anyway. It is worth nothing if you were paying cash.
