COREtec Flooring in Polk County, FL
The premium waterproof floor we recommend most.
COREtec set the standard for rigid-core waterproof flooring. A wood, stone, or tile look bonded to an indestructible core. The floor we recommend to the families who want the best.
COREtec invented this category. A rigid composite core — bamboo dust, recycled wood, and limestone — that's waterproof, dimensionally stable, and dense enough you can drop a hammer on it without hurting it. On top, an embossed wood, stone, or tile finish good enough to fool a professional installer at first glance. Pre-attached underlayment for quiet, comfortable footing. We carry COREtec because it's the best of its kind, and it's what we put in the homes we care most about.
Why COREtec
The original rigid-core
COREtec invented the rigid-core waterproof category. Everything else in this segment is following their playbook.
Fully waterproof
Top to bottom. The core can sit in standing water for days without swelling, warping, or delaminating.
Stone & wood looks
Wide-plank wood looks, large-format stone looks, herringbone, tile looks — the breadth of design is unique.
Pre-attached underlayment
Cork underlayment is bonded to every plank. Quieter, warmer, more comfortable to stand on than any competitor.
Healthier indoor air
GreenGuard Gold certified. Low-VOC and free of phthalates, formaldehyde, and heavy metals.
Lifetime warranty
Lifetime residential structural and wear warranty on COREtec. They stand behind it. So do we.

Care
Living with it.
Sweep or vacuum regularly. Damp-mop with plain water or a manufacturer-approved cleaner. Avoid steam mops. Felt pads under furniture. That's the entire care routine.
Installation
Putting it down.
Most COREtec jobs install in a day or two. Click-lock floating install over a level subfloor — no nails, no glue, no acclimation period. The pre-attached underlayment goes down with the plank. Our crew handles subfloor prep, transitions, and baseboard work as part of the job.

COREtec questions
How is COREtec different from regular LVP?
COREtec is a rigid-core construction with pre-attached cork underlayment, a thicker wear layer than most LVP, and the original waterproof core. The category took off because of COREtec — most other rigid-core LVPs are following their lead. The price is a bit higher; the product is a bit better.
What designs are available?
Hundreds. Wide-plank wood, herringbone, large-format stone, tile, weathered, hand-scraped. Come by the showroom and we'll lay samples out for you.
Do you stock COREtec?
We stock the most popular colorways and order specialty patterns directly from the mill. Lead times on stock items are zero; on specialty items, typically one to two weeks.
Will it really last a lifetime?
The lifetime warranty is real. We've installed COREtec floors that have been in homes for over a decade and still look new. That's why we recommend it.
Where can I get COREtec floors installed in Polk County, FL?
We're a COREtec dealer covering all of Polk County — Winter Haven, Lakeland, Auburndale, Bartow, Haines City, Davenport, Lake Alfred, and Lake Wales. COREtec samples are in our Havendale Boulevard showroom; free in-home measures across the county.
Does COREtec need underlayment?
No — most COREtec products have a pre-attached cork or foam underlayment built right into the plank. That makes installation faster and adds sound-dampening and moisture-resistance without a separate underlayment layer. For specific products that don't include attached pad (a small subset of the line), we install the manufacturer-recommended underlayment as part of the job.
Is COREtec waterproof and pet friendly?
Yes to both. COREtec's rigid stone-polymer core is 100% waterproof — spills, pet accidents, and bath splashes don't damage it. The wear layer resists scratches from claws, and the textured embossing hides minor surface marks. COREtec is what we recommend most often for Polk County households with kids and pets.
